Mr. Gianaris joined Garbarini & Scher, P.C. in 2003 and became a partner in 2008. Mr. Gianaris is a senior trial attorney having litigated and tried high-exposure cases in the fields of medical malpractice and general liability. Prior to beginning at the firm, Mr. Gianaris worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens County in various bureaus, including Homicide/Investigations, Organized Crime, Appeals, and as Chief of the Airport Investigations Unit. Mr. Gianaris earned his undergraduate degree from Fordham University (summa cum laude) and his juris doctorate from Fordham Law School. He also earned a Master’s of Law from New York University.
Aside from his responsibilities at the firm, Mr. Gianaris is an Administrative Law Judge with the Westchester County Taxi & Limousine Commission. He has earned the distinction of being named as a Super Lawyer in the field of medical malpractice defense in 2013 and 2014.
