Myrna A. Levinson
Ms. Levinson, a senior partner and trial attorney, joined the firm in 1977 and became a partner in 1983. She has represented the Firm’s clients for over 38 years. Ms. Levinson handles matters including medical malpractice, general negligence and professional licensing from the commencement of litigation to final resolution. Her practice includes the defense and trial of complex, high exposure, medical malpractice claims defending hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. A background in chemistry and science has provided a strong foundation for her ability to analyze complex medical and products litigation. Ms. Levinson’s clients appreciate her ability to understand the medical and technical issues and personally guide them through the difficulties of litigation knowing she is dedicated to their best representation. In addition to litigation, she also participates in the firm’s risk management programs.
Ms. Levinson is a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association, New York State Bar Association and New York State Malpractice Defense Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in New York State Courts and United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. She has also served as an Associate Justice for the Village of Ardsley.
Ms. Levinson received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law where she was a member of the Moot Court Board. She earned her undergraduate degree, Honors Chemistry, Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, from Syracuse University and was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, Pre-Medical Honor Society.
