Mr. Scher was born in New York City in 1959. His father is one of the firm’s founding partners. He is admitted to practice law in New York State and Federal Courts, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second and Third Circuits, Connecticut State and Federal Courts, New Jersey State and Federal Courts, The District of Columbia, The State of North Dakota, and the Supreme Court of the United States. . Mr. Scher joined Garbarini & Scher in 1988 and became a Member of the firm in1993. He was an Assistant District Attorney in New York County from 1984 through 1988. Mr. Scher, a Managing Partner, is the leader of the firm’s General Liability Department. He also devotes his time to litigating cases in all of the firms practice areas. Mr. Scher is responsible for the firm’s Federal Practice Unit and serves as a mentor to our legal staff.
